PETE KREBS has been a fixture on the Pacific Northwest music scene for close to two decades, first making his name as guitarist / singer / songwriter for the legendary Portland rock band Hazel. His numerous projects and collaborations have taken him to hundreds of venues around the world, sharing the stage with many well-known artists such as Nirvana and Elliott Smith.  Pete’s one of few souls who’s had the pleasure of performing at both CBGB’s and Preservation Hall. In addition to being an in-demand private music teacher, he works professionally as a swing jazz guitarist and singer for Portland’s The Stolen Sweets, along with his own Pete Krebs Trio and Portland Playboys. He has a new solo record in the works, soon to be released in 2013. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, giving questionable advice to the young ‘uns and sitting on his duff like the grumpy old man he is.

JEN BERNARD was born into a fertile maelstrom of family musicianship, cutting her teeth on everything from Bach to Bluegrass as she learned to sing and play guitar, piano and flute.  She has since carved out a self-sustaining musical life.  An avid concert producer, Jen is best known for her annual “Night of the Murder Ballad,” and has shared bills with such artists as Emmylou Harris and the Decemberists.  She currently performs with The Stolen Sweets and The Ariel Consort, and works for Portland Parks & Rec producing and booking the Summer Concerts in the Park series. Jen also loves to cook and is known for her raucous and hedonistic dinner parties. Jen’s dirty little secret is that she is also a semi-professional poker player, aspiring to a WSOP bracelet one day. From home-cooked suppers to giant poker pots, she brings a great “joie de vivre” to all her exploits.
